In the morning, your tourist transport will pick you up from your hotel to begin a tour of Lima, known as “The City of Kings.” We’ll visit the most emblematic sites of colonial and modern Lima: the Plaza de Armas, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Convent of San Francisco, as well as the districts of San Isidro and Miraflores. After the tour, you’ll return to your hotel.
Enjoy a full-day excursion south to visit the Citadel of Pachacamac, an important archaeological center with temples, palaces, and pyramids. We’ll also explore the picturesque district of Barranco, with its famous Bridge of Sighs and spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Return to your hotel in Lima.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel with time to rest. In the afternoon, explore “The White City,” visiting the Plaza de Armas, the Santa Catalina Monastery, and the Church of the Company of Jesus, among other highlights. Accommodation.
Depart early for the Colca Canyon, one of the world’s deepest canyons. Along the way, enjoy Andean landscapes and observe vicuñas. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Chivay. In the afternoon, you’ll have the option to relax in the “La Calera” hot springs and visit the Museum of Collaguas and Cabanas. Accommodation.
Early in the morning, visit the Cross of the Condor to admire the majestic flight of condors and the impressive depth of the canyon. On the way back to Chivay, we’ll stop at traditional villages and archaeological viewpoints, enjoying pre-Inca terraces. Accommodation.
After breakfast, we’ll journey along the Sillar Route, visiting quarries and admiring the stonemasons’ work in extracting sillar stone. Walk through the Quebrada de Culebrillas to observe ancient petroglyphs and apachetas. Transfer to Puno for accommodation.
Enjoy a boat tour on Lake Titicaca. We’ll visit the floating islands of the Uros, built from totora reeds, and Taquile Island, where we’ll enjoy a walk and a typical lunch in a local home. Return to Puno for accommodation.
After breakfast, travel by road to Cusco, with stops along the way to rest and enjoy the scenery. Arrival and accommodation.
Depart for the Sacred Valley, visiting Pisac and its traditional market. Enjoy a buffet lunch and continue to Ollantaytambo, with its impressive fortress. Transfer to the station to take the train to Aguas Calientes. Accommodation.
Early, transfer by bus to Machu Picchu for a guided visit to this world wonder. You’ll have free time to explore. In the afternoon, return by train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco. Accommodation.
Visit the Maras salt mines and the agricultural complex of Moray. In the afternoon, take a tour of Cusco’s historic center and nearby ruins: Koricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Accommodation.
Excursion to the South Valley to explore Tipón, Pikillaqta, and the Church of Andahuaylillas, also known as “The Sistine Chapel of America.” Return to Cusco for accommodation.
